Digital Ecosystem & Brand Architecture for International Health Insurance
The Challenge: From "Broker" to "Network Authority" The goal was to transition the digital presence from a standard insurance brokerage to a premium HMO Network Authority. Targeting high-income U.S. expats (ages 50+) living in the Caribbean and Latin America, the platform needed to feel as established and reliable as "UnitedHealthcare" or "American Express."
The Solution: A "Trust-First" Design System I engineered a 56-page ecosystem focused on clarity, familiarity, and technical precision:
Visual Identity Engineering: Developed a "High-Trust" brand identity (Miami Green/White) and standardized a wide range of provider logos (Cigna, Aetna, Humana) into a unified visual style to create a single, cohesive network experience.
Database Architecture (Find a Doctor): Manually structured a searchable directory of 120+ international hospitals across 12 countries. This involved migrating raw data into a custom CMS, verifying geographic data, and creating intuitive, country-specific search grids.
Compliance & Regulatory Logic: Transformed complex legal frameworks—including Medicare Bill H.R. 5299 and international residency requirements—into digestible, mobile-responsive layouts that bridge the gap between visa regulations and insurance needs.
Operations & Lead Generation: Developed multi-generational "Get a Quote" forms, custom multilingual (English/Spanish) ID cards, and automated confirmation workflows to streamline the sales funnel.
Technical Execution
End-to-End Production: Managed everything from initial domain setup and Web Archive data recovery to a full 41-page SEO overhaul and Google Search Console integration.
High-End Asset Management: Sourced, upscaled, and edited thousands of visual assets to ensure 4K clarity on retina displays while maintaining high performance for mobile users.
Product Evolution: Delivered three distinct generations of UI refinements, including custom icon systems (Stethoscope, Magnifying Glass) and "American Express-style" product panels.
The Outcome The result is a comprehensive, production-ready platform that successfully positions Access HMO as a premium authority. By turning operational complexity into a user-friendly interface, the site manages the entire journey from "Visa Requirement Research" to "Insurance Enrollment.
